This has very simple features and typically involves paying a lump-sum amount to us, and in exchange, you are given the rights to receive payments right away. Policy holders can program immediate annuity to pay for the remainder of your life, for a specified time period, or so long as you and a chosen recipient are still alive. Payouts are sensitive to interest rate changes, which means when annuity rates are low, your future income may be lower, too.
